The Baltimore Peninsula waterfront transformed into one of the region's most elegant cultural destinations as POLO x JAZZ returned with another unforgettable experience. Against the backdrop of the harbor, guests arrived dressed in vibrant colors, statement hats, tailored linen, bold prints and sophisticated summer fashion that turned every walkway into a runway.
Hosted by legendary Actor Clifton Powell, the event once again proved why POLO x JAZZ has become one of the premier lifestyle experiences celebrating Black excellence, luxury, philanthropy and community. From world-class polo to engaging activations, live art, premium spirits and unforgettable networking, every corner of the venue delivered a curated experience.

Perhaps the most powerful image of the day wasn't just the horses charging across the field — It was seeing talented Black polo players commanding the match while thousands gathered to celebrate culture in a space that continues to redefine representation in equestrian sports.

*Clifton Powell — Served as host, bringing his signature charisma, humor and authenticity to one of the culture's most anticipated luxury events.
*Shawn Yancy — Served as Mistress of Ceremonies, bringing her signature warmth, professionalism and hometown presence to the celebration while helping guide guests through an unforgettable afternoon of culture and philanthropy.

*Dr. Vonnya Pettigrew — A visionary entrepreneur and the first African American woman in Maryland to purchase an entire block on Baltimore’s waterfront as she discussed her upcoming golf tournament.
*The talented Black polo players once again demonstrated athletic excellence while continuing to expand representation within the sport.

The fashion was simply exceptional. Guests embraced the spirit of polo with colorful dresses, custom suits, extravagant fascinators, stylish hats and elevated summer looks that made the event feel like a luxury editorial brought to life. An older White gentlemen mentioned that the event reminded him of Preakness.
The VIP and sponsor tables were beautifully curated with elegant individual table settings and sophisticated décor that elevated the overall guest experience.
